Default weatherstripping

im replacing the weatherstripping on the 85 today hopefully right after i finish replacing the carpet, but i got a kit from 50resto.com and theres no glue or anything, is the actual strip of weatherstripping all i need?

When I got replacement weather stripping I just put it on and pressed it hard. There was some kind of white silicone stuff inside that holds it on.

i just did it and it has a metal liner on the inside the hold it in, it was very easy actually, now to finish putting the carpet in
