your first time will take forever, after that its simple. On your cam more than likely hot lash will be around .018-.020 thousandths or so, jay will tell you obviously Im guessing from all the cams I use from him. Get a feeler gauge the correct thickness, make sure the lifter is on the base circle of the cam, insert feeler gauge between the rocker arm and valve stem, tighten polylock and move to the next valve. Take you all of 20 minutes after you do it once, if you drive the car 10k miles per year you might adjust 2-3 times or so.

o well that doesnt seeem to bad at all. people keep scaring me sayin how hard it is and how i should have gone with a hyd roller and all this.

that is because they have no clue, all they do is recycle more bad info from the internet engine builders who dont have anything to show for what they are talking about. Believe me, I been there done that 15 years ago and build these small block fords every single day in my shop and use a dozen cams per month from Jay. You will be fine. People are lazy also
