leak on stock upper intake?

I don't know why I thought it was exhaust gases...[&:]but, yea it vapors like you said. Recently when I start up the rpms dip instantly to 500rmps then go up to 750rpms...i think this cap might be related to this problem.

That letting air in would cause a vacuum leak which would effect your idle.

well try cleaning it off with some carb cleaner or something and seeing if it comes back
