Default Radiator recommendations

Howdy y'all,

My blower project seems to keep compounding dollars. My latest discovery is that I need a radiator. She gets real hot with the A/C on. Odd thing is that it at it's worst while highway driving...go figure. I can see some crud built up in the stock one and have tried a few mixes of "radiator flush" to try to break it up and drain it out but the flush formulas have amounted to benothing short of"snake oil". I reckon I might as well upgrade to a decent aluminum rad. My tuner recommends a Fluidyne for $399. I was hoping to get away a bit cheaper. Any recommendations on decent rads?

Thanks and God bless,

This is the one I have

3 Core

Some may say it's junk, but it keeps my car totally cool. And seeing that you have a blower, you prolly would need a 3 or 4 Core rad.

.....[:@]......dont start this again, i've already ousted the 3/4 core copper rad, THEY'RE JUNK compared to an aluminum rad.

yes it is true copper does dispate heat faster than aluminum but it all has to do with the construction of the copper rad, its not all copper and the other metals they use to construct the copper rad do not dispate he even close to the rate of brass nor aluminum......

aluminum is the only way to go.

P.S. copper/brass and those other metals they use to make those rads ROT and corrode... aluminum doesnt
