Valve was stuck open, so no compression, I ran a new complete compression test on the motor, and all cylinders are within 5-7psi of each other. I am going to finish putting it back together later this week, and see what happens. Since my car is carbed, shouldn't take too long to get it running again and see if my efforts where justified.

it would be wise of you to remove the head and bring it to a machine shop. When valves get stuck, its time to replace parts.

sounds to me like you have bad springs, worn guides, and/or bent valves


please don't run your car like this

Probably a good idea to find out why the valve was sticking in the first place.
