Default What starter

I've finally came accross some money so I can get rid of all the little things in the car that bother me.

The starter seems to stick once I start the car just for a second, so I'm popping in a new selenoid and probably just going to trash the old starter anyway. Out with the old in with the new.

Can any of you guys reccommend a nice powerful starter that wont be failing on me anytime soon?

Thanks in advance!

Default RE: What starter

Ford Racing # M-11000-A50, which is the high torque mini starter. I am running this one and it works well, allows ample room for my long tubes, and because it is smaller and lighter, it is easier to install especially when compared to the larger 87-91 stock starter. These run about $186.00 at Jeg's. If cost isn't a concern, you could get the M-11000-B51 which is 1.4 kw as compared to the A50's 1.1 kw. These will start high compression motors with ease but cost about 300.00 +

Thanks man, I'll look into the ford racing one. 300 bux doesnt exactly fit my budget for a starter.
