Default control arms

hi everyone,
i had a quick question. i hear it is cheaper to change my entire control arm rather than play around with the bushings and ball joints.
now my question is this, is there an upper and lower control arm for the front as well as the back? and do i need to change both together?
im a little lost.
thanks.

no ....just lower control arm for the front.....if you don't have the tool to remove and install bushings and ball joints...it'd be less hassle to buy a ready made one to go
