Ok, so I got 4 wires that are suppose to go to my T5, I hook 2 of the purple ones together and my tail lights light up so I know where those go, but the other two, (one red, one white) must be the Neutral safty switch right? So I hooked them both up together and when I turn the key I hear one "click" noise and then my car goes compeletly dead, I have to dissconnect the battery and let it sit for a second before it will even use the power, and if I try to crank without hooking the redwire, and the white wire together I just get a "no crank", nothing.....does anyone know whats going on?

 

you might have a short now if you guess the first few times by touching the wrong wires together to figure out the orientation

 

So what do I do now?

 

I found out that the "clicking" noise is comming from the solenoid.....???

 

the single click is indicative of a bad ground or lack of power. double check the power wires on the starter and see if it's getting a good ground.

 

Check ground strap too
