The FRPP catalog says anything with more than .512 lift will require piston notching on a stock bottom end. I know max lift isnt the main concern with PTV clearances Im juststating what Ford said.Just make sure to check it because it only takes a second to do and can save you big headaches.

87-93 pistons are already flycut. and i know many people who run the f cam with stock heads and have enough clearance. TO check ptv clearance put playdough on one of the pistons and rutn the engine over by hand. then compare the indention it made to the preexisting notch in the piston

really doesnt matter on tha push rods as long as thier hardened push rods im sure ford racing selles them or comp cam has a set for 50 bucks p# COMP7826-16 on brothersperformance.com n try p# FMM6250F303 on the springs on tha same web site or u can jus call them up n they fix u up 1 800 4862681 r u still running stock heads

I know everyone here doesnt want to hear this, but suck it up and make sure you buy chromemoly pushrods
