Default How much to expect??

I have a stock 95 5.0 motor, even down to the exhaust. I am replacing the exhaust with 1 5/8 shorty headers, o/r h pipe, slp catback lm1 with the race resonators. I am buying a bbk cold air intake with a pro m mass air and airfilter. What can i expect to gain hp with the exhaust and CAI over stock???
What are some easy boltons that i could buy to get me closer to 250-275hp??
thanks

yea with the pullies and intake you should definetly feel more power and if you've got the manual fan on there i would put an electric one on it mine stays just as cool with the electric fan and you canfree up to 15-20 ponies right there the little stuff might not count at first but if you add em up in the long run youll find that they actually do

to be honest, no, CAI and exhaust will give you 15, MAYBE 20, underdrives are good for maybe 5, so your at 240, maybe 250 if your lucky, but for the purpose of retaining reality, we will say your at 235-240. if your completely stock, what will be more worth your while are a shift kit/ stall converter if your an auto, or a short throw shifter if your manual, and a good set of gears, you will notice a MUCH bigger difference from those, than most anything minor you can do to the engine

the intake may give you some more #'s, but is essentially worthless without a better cam and heads behind it

other things you can do to squeeze more power out, delete the smog pump, a/c and powersteering if your feeling up to it, lose some weight and gain about 15hp, electric fan will give you maybe 3ish

mustangsneverdie, your giving his car and these mods way too much credit, head to the 5.0 general section, and look at a thread called "bolt on myths destroyed"

you probably started with 215, i believe the 93-on had less than the 92 and earlier
so yeah, CAI and exhaust, maybe 20, like i said

theintake upgrade will put you about 15 and if you read thewhole thing you would have seen that he said he upped all the xhaust but the mufflers u could also gain 15-20 ponies just by puttin on a better flowin h pipe

ugh so confusing. i think ill at least get 15-20 out of just the exhaust because its basically straight pipes (shorties, o/r h pipe, and loudmouth resonators) Is the CAI even worth the money, will it actually bring me 10-12hp?

what i'm talkin about is at the flywheel they're doin it at the tires so just cause it says there "destroyed" doesn't mean they are do you understand what im talkin about
