Default tune question
does anyone know if you get your car dyno tuned without a chip do you loose the tune if your battery dies or you un-plugg it? i know that if you have a chip you dont loose it if the battery looses power. thanks

yes you can get just a dyno result / numbers with no tune and if battery dies chip/ tune should be fine

i don't think you can make any changes to the computer without burning a chip. I would think that as soon as you unplug the tuning software the tune's gone unless you get a chip burnt. not positive tho[&:]

i was told that its possible to dyno tune the car without burning a chip by adjusting timing,fuel pressure and maf curve...

I have had my car dyno tuned without achip. no problems when I disconnect my battery
