Hello, I need some serious help. I have built several 86-93 stangs before and never had a problem till now. This time the only change I made was switching from an AoD tranny to a 5 speed in a stock 5.0 88 GT Mustang. I changed the wiring harness like I was supposed to but for some reason there was a couple extra wires that I didn't have the equipment in my car to hook up to. This has happened before in previous builds of mine and never had a problem, but now I'm having serious fuel problems. I can turn my key switch to on, not even start the car, and put my shifter in reverse and my fuel pump comes on and runs constanly, flooding out my engine badly. When the car is running it's flooding constantly in all gears, but will rev up 1000 rpms over idlewhen shifted to reverse. I have all stock equipment for an 88 GT exept for 86 5 speed and tranny wiring. No other wiring mods have been made. I even changed the brain box and it run perfect for 3 days, but then I went to back out of a parking space on the 3rd day it done it again as soon as I hit reverse position on the shifter. If anyone can help me with a complete drawing of the 5 speed tranny wiring and what all it plugs into and where its located or any other helpfull info it would be greatly appreciated.
