It should be hiding under the tape of the VIP connector harness. If not, how many wires do you have in the VIP connector?

i will look under the tape, i believe there are 4 wires in vip

is there any way that the sti is in the big self test connector, cause there is a tan and red wire in there

IIRC the STI wire should be red with a white tracer

and if you still cant find it. pull your ECM out and locate pin #48... thats the STI where it meets the ECM

my sti is in the big self test connector, am i the only one that has it like this.. maybe i have a rare stang or something cause nobody could help me figure that out

The following pinout diagram should help...... ignore the Data (+) and (-) wires, they don't apply to fox Mustangs....... looks like the wiring harnesses rearrangement, had the person clip it into the VIP connector.
