Default Windows Screeching?

Windows are screeching on the way up, easy fix or not? What would be the approximate price to fix?

cost could just be your time. spray the weatherstripping down with lubricant and see if that helps, if not try running something through it like a screwdriver to make sure there isnt something in there catching it. if that doesnt work pull the door panel and see if you can hear it better inside the door, it could be the motor is dry and it straining when you put the windows up. if thats the case then pull it appart and put some grease in the motor as in the worm gear and what have you

that's the last thing you wanna do cause then everytime you roll up the window you'll have this greasy streak of a mess.....I did that once and it took weeks to get it off/ outta the felt..........anyway..take the panel off and see what's rubbing/scrapping

thing is thats why you get dry lubricant, it works like a charm, it's even what we're told to use at the dealership. i'm not talking about wd40 or pb blaster, sorry about that

we use 3m up at the ford dealership, and yea i'd recommend spraying it in the tracks first, but check to see if there's something in the tracks as well
