Default vert top frame?

can a piece of the convertible top frame be replaced without having to replace the entire thing?

also can it be done without needing to replace the fabric, my car has an 8 month old top on it...

part of the frame has a crack in it, I braced with a piece of metal, but I want to replace it eventually

I guess it's possible but more than likely you'll have to find the part at a junk yard

I know that, the only part they repo of the convertible topframe is the latch, as far as I know... its the main arm on the rear, that runs along the 1/4 window.... prolly will be a pita to fix... but the damn thing is aluminum, cast aluminum, aka sh!tty to weld...

worst case, I cant take her to Cjponyparts... I'm going to school on wednesday, I'll be 1 hour away
