How high of a lift can stock springs handle?
#11
.490" intake and .450" exhaust........ this does not take into consideration the other important specs required for aftermarket camshafts ..... spring rate, closed valve and opened valve pressure....... which makes the stock springs "barely" acceptable for a stock camshaft...... regardless of mileage.

stock springs = stock cam and e cam with stock springs = cam will no reach full potential..been there done that...I had to short shift everytime with such a set up or it's float the valves and literally fall on it's face until I solved problem when I swapped cam for an f-cam and matched springs
