missfire
i give upon this miss that im having,i have chenged injectors, plugs, wires, cap and rotor are 6 m/o ,the motor has about 300 miles on it and it has missed since put in,it has around 150-160 lbs compression,18-19 inches of vacuum,it is showing no codes other than 41-91 somtimes, and 44-94 i have no smog,no cats.the cylinder balance test always passes with 9 flashes,i have checked wires and made sure eveyrthing is plugged in,the old motor had the same problem as well,i have sprayed carb cleaner around everything,i havent found any vacuum leaks,i have cleaned the "salt and pepper shakers",i have cleaned the egr,the miss seems to be just one cylinder,it sounds like #6.if anyone else has ever had this problem plez give me some help,i dont want to take it to a shop.
Dude had the same issue about 2months ago, but it was on #7 cylinder. I changed eveything you did to and when i did the injector i thought i fixed it but nope. Then i bought a new dizzy and put it in and then the son of a B wouldnt start??? I dunno what it ever was but I converted to Carb, put Summits new ignition on and there dizzy to match it....fires right up now...I dunno what it was i even went as far as the ignition modules and everything. I think there was something in the wiring harness F'd up. But iam to inpatient to trace wires. Wish i could help you though man if you ever find it out let me know
how can you assume it's #6 and at this point you need to suck it up and find a shop with an occiliscope and a tech who knows how to read ignition system parade pattern to see where the break down/ misfire is
