Default TPS question

ok on my 92 lx 5.0. my car wont start. it started fine earlier in the day. then i got home to check the oil cause i got a rear main seal problem. i notice that i was 2 quarts low. so then i noticed that one screw was missing on the tps. stupid me turned it. now it just keeps on turning. so i take it off and notice that the 2 teeth or what ever you call them kind of rounded out. so the throttle is not cathing on the teeth to make the tps to work. could this cause the car just to crank and not turn over or could i have another problem. to tell you the truth this is just a project car and right now im not worried about perfomance. i just want it to run right first. cause i think tps cause it worked right before i twisted it off and rounded out the teeth or broke them. and i just cleaned the IAC, egr and TB. i havent gotten to the maf yet. i need that tool first. any suggestions.

get your tps lined up as well as u can and find a way to keep it in place with tape or something crank it over and see if it starts, for information on how to adjust your tps to the right setting theres a thread on here somewhere that says how to adjust it

the tps doesnt have any moving parts, it is normal to be like that, put it back on with the flat part pointing to the back of the TB.
