Hi. I own a 87 GT and I want a daily driver that gets the best gas mileage possible. I am happy with the 308 gears and will keep them. I am doing a complete tuneup- plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. what else could I do that would help gas mileage? thankyou for your time. what kind of gas mileage do you guys get?

raise air pressure
buy underdrive pulleys
keep car waxed and use rain -x on all windows
use syth. oils and fluid
don't carry a spare tire of jack
don't ride with the windows open
set timing @ 2 degrees
turn the car off at stoplights
coast down all hills with car out of gears
don't let friends ride with ya unless the have gas $$$
pull out some weight
don't date a fat chick and let her ride

spend like 800 bucks worth of ignition and accessory upgrades to save yourself 80 bucks in gas money over 5 years

fuel filter. drive it easy. i have a 300 rwhp 89 gt and its got 3.55's in them and i get 16.1 mpg on street. on highway like 17.9

LMAO...Yes, draft, I live in the 'draft' capital. There's at least 5 'drafting' accidents a week on the same road. Crap thats a lot of draft now I want beer.
