Anyone used a Magnaflow cat-back system on a FOX?
I recently installed a 2.5" Magnaflow stainless cat back system on my 88 LX. #15630 http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...one=all&id=975
It is a really tight fit. Seems to flow better than the Flowmasters that were on there.
My question is, was it a bear to install for you? Very tight fit and the 3" tips stick out about 4" behind the bumper. I'm gonna try to see if I can get the tips back any farther, I just wanted to see if anyone else had any experience with this kit?
I'll try to get some video of the sound tomorrow if I can and post a link.

Yeah, I have them. I think I have the same kit. I forget what the difference between the two were. Maybe one was for a Cobra?
Yeah, I had problems putting them in. I don't think it sits down there just right but it's not hitting anything or that close to any lines. The tail pipes are just hanging though. They are too high for the hangers I have. I have to put on new shorter ones. I tried my darnedest to get them to sit lower but I couldn't. Right now they are up against the bumper. I'm not worried about the paint job so it doesn't bother me. I just have to secure it better because I autocross it.
I did have to cut about 2-3" because it was too long for the x-pipe I have on there. I don't even know which one it is. It was there when I bought the car. I also had Flowmasters on before. I thought it was too loud. I heard the Magnaflows flow better too so I kill too birds with one stone.
