I bought an install harness with the relay and temperature sensor that screws into the intake. Coming out of the sensor is two wires, one goes to the harness and the other goes to an ignition power. My question is where under the hood can I hook this second wire into. I know I can just run a wire to the fuse block under the dash but I wanted to know if there is some place closer.

take a volt meter or a test light and find a wire. just keep checkin some till you get one, make sure its only got power when the key is in the on position

You can hook it right up to the feed. I originally had my hooked up as recommended to ignition power but since switched it. Now after driving, after the temperature rises with the key off. The fan will cycle and cool things down under the hood.

i have my, 12v key on, wire going to the wiper motor

I got mine going to the windshield wiper motor

its the red wire on it... splice it in there, i sodered mine
