Yes, it hooks up the same way as the 6AL. It just has all the extra features built in. You can also just buy the Ford harness and it installs in under a minute.

Buy the Digital 6+, and that harness. The only other thing you'll need is a long wire, and the switch you're going to use to activate the 2-step.
