Default Venom 400 Performance module

Does this control module actually give you a extra 25% like it says? That would be another 50 horses. I read the reviews and they all say you can tell it gives you extra power but none of them have dynoed. The chip is $300. Think its worth it?
Thanks,
Mike

Actually I'm happy to say I've never owned one nor would I ever install one on my Cobra.

Here's what it does. Say your gas pedal is 25% pressed, it will adjust it so the throttle is actually open further, say 50%. When the pedal is pressed 50% it the car will go 75%, at 100% throttle it does absolutely nothing. All it does is make your car feel more peppy because it gives more throttle than you call for.

100 % corect.. you can get the same power if you press your trottle more.. thats what it does.. open it more

you get get this mod as cheap as a few cents resistor and put it in the TPS if im not mistaken

The reason the mod "sucks Gas" is because it makes you run VERY rich. Save your money. It fools the computer into thinking there's more air coming in than what there really is.

The resistor would be placed in the same circuit as the IAT sensor, not the TPS. It basically tricks the computer into thinking that the intake air is cold, and runs the car in a cold engine, richer, condition mode with more timing and such. Better off just relocating the sensor to the air box for the coolest air.
