Blower Motor Short?

Blower Motor Short?
Here's the issue:
When I turn my A/C, Heater, or vent on, ie. whenever my blower motor is on, the two yellow wires up under my steering column, they run into my ignition switch module, they are both heating up and got hot enough the first time it happened to brown and start smoking.
Has this happened to anybody else? Any ideas on what to check out first/replace?
