Need HELP finding a new ECU
#11
They have already tried Napa and set the wrong one twice. Napa must have them packaged wrong. Also the stator tested fine even being heated at the dealership. I`m thinking about sending the unit to Flordia to be repaired. Does anyone know if the stock ecu settings can be changed for better performance once its repaired.

I would be suprise if a new ecu fixed the issue, my bet is the stator, I gaurantee they ford dealer hasn't tested it properly, depends on if a noob is doing the test work, if there is no injector pulse it's possible the PIP signal is missing which signals injector pulse, ask them if they tested for the PIP signal when the prob is present

ECM should be a t4mo.
I had a 94 GT and I did a trans swap to t-5. My auto ecu would warm up and kill the motor. Once I swapped in the t-5 ECM the car ran fine. What does an auto swap have to do with this? Nothing
But, you should be able to find a T4MO on ebay.
