Default Want to delete A/C, PS and smog...

Okay, I got my "new to me" 1987 GT 2 weeks ago. Its pearl white with ugly gangster looking chrome wheels. It came with CAI, Flowmasters, 4:10 gears, king cobra clutch, and a pro 5.0 shifter. Since getting it I have changed all the fluids, new MSD cap and rotor button, fixed the rear hatch that didn't latch, put new brakes and shocks all around, new wipers, gutted the interior from the front seats back, installed an 8 pt. roll cage, deleted the a/c controls and installed a carbon fiber plate in place of those controls down to the shifter, and installed an autometer temp gauge. I really just want the bare minimum of what she needs to get up and down the road. I want to ditch the A/C compressor and lines, the smog stuff including the pump, and the PS pump. I will still need the mech water pump for awhile till I get an electric, so... Sorry so long, anyone done this? I really don't want to have to buy three delete kits, just want to run a really short belt somehow. Any suggestions??? Great forum, I'll post pics when I figure out how. Thanks.

My delete kit consisted of the tools I bought to get the job done, which are the tools I use every day, and a different belt, that's it! Don't waste your money on pointless delete kits when it can be done without them. The smog, A/C, and PS pump should all just unbolt. Make sure you get a manual rack if you're sure on deleting the PS pump. Now that I think about it, I did keep PS so belt routing is going to be way different. For the A/C lines you're going to need some A/C/fuel line disconnect tools. I kept the PS mounted in the same location and routed my belt as so with an 84 1/4" length one.

i was going to delete all three then realize no real way to keep the waterpump going the correct way, so you will need a electric one or a clockwishe one

So looks like I may have to wait untill I get an electric water pump, then delete all tha other stuff. Question, why would I have to get a manual rack to delete the PS pump? Factory five uses the stock rack with no pump on their cobra kits. The stock ratio is like 15:1, so I figure if thats too heavy, I'll get ane from a 4 banger stang which had a 20:1 ratio.

It's not good for a power rack being used with no assist.
