You know those displays they have at part stores? Well, we cranked one of those up with a drill. The regular oil did its job when the Lucas foamed and bubbles and got bubbly, not good...you want oil not to emulisfy with ar or water. Try some Amsoil products...

this came up before where some guy tried to prove that lucas was no good. if it was true, they wouldnt have made it for so long and have so many people swear by it. all of these supposed tests where done on parts with loose tolerences and on parts that were cold

so true.......

13...to go over your statement.. cold engine has lose toleraces when you start it.....so it doesn't help in start up wear forwhich about 80+% accures. people keep buying the stuff hoping it will make thier engine/trans laster longer...most don't keep the car to find out so the cycle starts again with the new car.....just like back when in the STP days... like good ole slick 50 that was clogging up oil pump pickups...
