Default Front clip question.

okay guys, i'm not exactly sure if I'm in the right section.I have an 84 Mustang that I am wanting to do a front clip update to. I currently have the hood, bumper, and i have two fenders as well. I don't think I need the fenders but, it may be possible that I do. I am getting new aftermarket headlights as well. but, here's my question, Will I need a new core support? I'm thinking that I will, but a friend of mine says that I wont. I would just need a new header panel. I thought the core and header panel were the same things?

Another question I have is, on the earlier fox bodies, the quarter window glass has that "ugly vent" thing.. If I were to remove the quarter glass, does the vents come out with it? I am wanting to convert my 84 to a 87-93. I know that I will also have to change out my body trim, but that's no big deal.

Any information you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Clint.

On the quarter windows the vents and glass all come out they are 2 different pieces but are pretty easy to take out, The newer style windows are a pain to take out but not bad to put in they are a exact fit in the older style, if you are taking them out of an 87-93 and havent done it before you might want some help, ive done it 3-4 times and i still use another person. The header panel is rivited to the back of the front bumper cover, its like fiberglass and gives the bumper cover support as well as the headlights, the fenders are the same as is the core support.
