Default Removing Gas tank

I am in the process of dropping my tank. I have everything loose including fuel lines and wiring harness but I can't get the damn filler neck to come out of the tank.

What am I missing?

did you take the 3-4 screws out of the fillerneck flange deal that connects to the car? if so you just need to work the neck out of the tank

if you look around the neck there is like a piece of metal that wraps around the neck... kinda holding it there, you gotta unbolt it... and shimmy the tank sideways off the filler neck

Get "persuasive" with it... make sure you disconnected all the electronics from the top of the tank that can hold it there
