MAF Question.
Hey guys,
Non mustang owner here, but I wanted to get some advice from you guys. I have a 944 turbo, with the barn door style AFM, and I want to convert to MAF. Instead of paying like 1200 for a MAF system for my car, I can buy a Ford MAF, have the pipng made, and have a chip burned for the car, splice it in, and there you go... cheap.
Anyway, In my research, I've found that the 73mm MAF is supposedly the best flowing, at like 700 CFM, better then the 80mm. Is that correct? Is a 1994 Mustang Cobra 70mm MAF really a 73mm? Are the cobra and 5.0 MAFS the same? Basically I'm looking for high flow, and cheap.
The car it will go on is a 2.5 liter inline 4 turbo. I'm running 18 psi, on the stock turbo for now, making about 260 RWHP.
I'm going to have to give you guys props on the mustang, I used to really look down on em, until they started owning me at the track. (road racing, not drag, thats not a real track... JK!) great cars! Thanks again!

I dont need a mustang computer... All i need is a chip burned to be able to read the signal. Both my afm, and the mustand maf read in volts, unlike the GM mafs, they read in frequency, and that is too much work.
