thanks! lol well I checked the plugs! they look great! just that little haze of white on them... and the car still des it! it's weird how do I change the air/fuel ratio? it's on the throttle body right? and could it be the timing? I dunno? anymore suggestions? PLEASE! lol

You can't just change the a/f ratio on a stock setup. Check your timing and see what it is at. Are you positive you have the wires on straight? What did you regap your plugs at this time?

Do you still have the plugs,wires, and stuff you took off? What plugs did you get and where did you get them from?

I got the autolite 25 and I gapped them a little bigger at like close to 40. and How do i check the timing... sorry for the lack of knowledge... I got the plugs and wires from summit racing and yes i do have the old wires and that stuff. thanks for the help so far

I know this has nothing to do with the plugs and wires, but you might have a sensor throwing your computer off. Giving you that hard idle. My did the same thing after I replaced the plugs and wires. It just might be ironic that it occurred right after you changed you wires and plugs. Have you tried pulling any codes?

no I was thinking about buying a code reader... I guess i'll have to... that makes sense with the sensor... I would go to autozone but california is gay and forced them to stop running codes for people! Just really frustrating!

if you're running fairly stock motor, you need to gap at .50-.52. i had mine gapped at .45 and i had some idle and drivability issues.

did you set your tps, base idle and check timing?
