Default just changed my rack n pinion

i just changed my rack n pinion last nite and once i started the car, i hear weird noises on the power steering motor and when i turn left n right theres a sound too, its a 1995 gt. any ideas??

Jack the front of the car up and turn the wheel all the way left and all the way right to bleed the air out of the system. You will probably have to do that and shut it off and top off the level and do it again. It may take a couple of times.

Why did you change it anyway??

Yeah you need to bleed that system real good or it is going to make a lot of noise

Default hmm.

i guess i need to bleed it, cause all i did was drop d car and started it and started turning left and right. and now driving it. im going to try bleeding it tomorrow. can any1 explain it how to bleed it? like step by step.... thanks for the reply.

i changed it because it was making creak noises everytime i turn left and right...like..."TICK TSEEK" now dat problem is solved. another problem came up...lol

jack it up and make sure fluid is topped of and turn it lock to lock 20 times with car off and then set it down and check level and be on your way, it's just that simple

just like mj said 20 times.. check fluid around 10 times so you dont run out and then ur just putting air back in it lol. with car off by the way.
