I have been told through pm's and posts on other threads that I have started that I would benefit from going with a differnet cam based on the setup that I have below...

302 block bore to 306
hydraulic rollers
1.7 RR's
B303 cam
RPM performer heads
RPM performer intake
MAC shorty headers
MAC H pipe
MAC mufflers (dont know what model but they are VERY loud)
holley 750 DP
MSD 6AL ignition.
4:10 gears
HD T5 tranny

Apparently the B303 is holding back potential power that my motor can produce.

A. Is this true?

B. What Cam would work best with this set up?

As it is set up now, it pulls very strong all the way to 6,000 and runs like a champ. I dont want to mess with this for the benefits of 5-10 hp, but if 40 hp or more is waiting to come out with a different cam, then I might be inclined to change.

first of all i think you will benefit from having a bigger /better cam
i dont know how old those heads are so if they are fairly new
you wont have the change your valve springs out but if they
have alot of miles then put new springs.if you get a bigger cam
your gonna have to get 1.6 rockers your 1.7 rockers will be to much.
look into the comp cams stuff like 274hr that is a good one or the
286hr i have that one, it is mean sounding cam with a .598 lift
