Default tranny kit

hey guys i just ordered my tranny rebuild kit today.. i got a pretty nice deal.. im kind of excited b/c my tranny will finally be perfect.. no grinding or anything.. new syncros which it needed the most.. its 1 of the small projects for my car.. next comes the allignment... if the allignment is off.. does that mean the steering is off too.. lets say im doin a 3 point turn or sumthin.. i turn the wheel all the way around.. but the wheels arent quite there... its b/c the allignment is off right??? i need some input on that the most.. thanks guys

your steering wheel would shake and you would have uneven tire wear
