lets revise what you have there and get some better parts that will work better together

dizzy - MSD Billet
cap and rotor - MSD
Wires - MSD super conductor
coil - MSD Blaster
Ingnition box - MSD 6AL

if you are going to do ingnition make sure you get all the parts from the same company

get a crane box instead, you wont have any problems then.
my msd crapped out 2 times now.
first it stopped working, and now I hooked it up for 1 race down the strip and I was 3 tenths slower with it hooked up.
and it idled crappy too.

I retract my previous post, msd is good.
the reason I thought it was making me slower is because the positive coil wire was cut and hanging by 1 piece of wire. making the car miss, and because the ignition makes more spark and more power, it made it worse because there wasnt enough power.
works good now.
