Does a 5.5" Back space sound right? If it is what is the largest tire i can fit on a 15X8 rim with 5.5 backspace On my fox mustang??

Those tires will rub. Same ones on mine. 5.5 bs rim too. 275/50's will clear fine

umm not to hi jack but on topic...

will 17x9 rims with a 5.75" Back spacing and 275-40-17 tire fit a stock fox?

and

will 17x10 rims with a 6.45" back spacing and 315-35-17 tire fit a stock fox?
