I had my BBK quadrant in my car for 8-9 years, and I have never had a problem with it breaking. So I think they are good. As far as removing the seat, oh ya do it soo much easier. I tried to do it with the seat in on my friend's car about 2 month ago and my body aint supposed to bend like that. The quadrant is a must do mod to a mustang.

and if you want to pull a back muscle then don't remove the seat. you must be some type of contortionist.
lol it doesn't take 5 mins he's notorious for extreme exaggerations..... trust me i know him..... i'm the one who does it for him, it took me maybe 15-25 mins at most. i never take the seat out i'm just 6ft tall and weigh 150lbs. i've done his car, my old 88, my sn and my 83. not ONCE did i take a seat out.
now while the WHOLE swap takes a bit longer the PAIN in the A$$ part with the quad takes the longest, i think the cable swap took maybe 5-10 mins
