my airbag module is bad on my sn so the bulb comes on, and i know about removing it how it'll cause the awful beep in the dash, so if the light doesnt need to come on for my inspection, i was curious if anyone has ever ohm'd out a bulb to see the resistance and grabbed that resistor and stuck it in the bulb socket. since the circuit knows when the bulb burns out etc it obviously goes off the resistance in the circut. just a thought

why?? it's just easier and cheaper to reach behind the dash and unplug the blue module box

measure the resistance of the bulb then put a resistor thats the same in place of the bulb. yer pretty much tricking it into thinking the bulbs there, and avoiding the beeping. i did this in my truck and it works great
