have put a 130 amp alt on my 90 notch w/331 5 speed alt came off a 98 v6 stang have run a 6 gauge wire from alt to battery so that my bat cut off will work DO I STILL HAVE TO RUN THE OTHER TWO WIRES THAT CAME OFF THE OLD HARNESS (they are maked bat on the old alt) have done the field wire and the oval votage regulator plug that plugged right in to the new alt. just wondering what to do with the two wires if i hook them up the cut switch does not shut off the car if i leave them not hooked up the car will shut off with the battery switch at the rear off car thanks gebhart331:

 

you dont need to use the 2 black/orange wires, just tape them off
