Default Ignition Coil

If anyone knows about ignition I need some help. Just installed a Crane Fireball ignition coil for my 5.0 and now it runs rough at idle. Also there is a electronic whine that I can hear through the dash. What is causing the car to run rough at idle and how do I get rid of the electronic whine? Is there a filter I can get for that? Any info would be great.
