Default ford racing spark plug wires

i just got my set and it included a crappy tiny coil wire and a extra wire. Am i suppose to cut the boot of one and splice it on or what? If you know how to do it please explain, as i don't want to damage the wire by doing incorrectly.
thanks

your talking about the short one with the wrong connector to hook to the coil. and it came with the long wire, with the right connector? thats how mine were to, i just figured i would use the long one with the right connector, and just kinda loop it to take up the slack. but i kinda wondered about that when i opened my box too.

The shorter wire is for a Carb. 5L Mustang...you need to use the long wire to the coil...

you should need the long one as stated, however I have had to change the ends before based on different combos I used, it's easy to swap 'em around
