I have a 89 coupe 4 cylinder and i plan this weekend to do the swap, i bought a 94 gt 5.0 mustang as my donor car for the whole conversion. what i need to know is, do i need to pull out the entire wiring harness that goes back into the firewall on the coupe? will the 94 harness plug up to everything like the dash harness etc. also will it all bolt right in and be sexy and easy? i plan to put the engine, transmission, driveline, rear end, engine wiring harness, computer, fuel pump, radiator and fan anyways thanks for the help any comments and advice on this whole project would be appreciated, im thinking it will be a piece of cake, i will post pictures of the tear down and build up. thanks

from what i have heard it would be easier to replace the whole harness so u dont have to cut and splice and repin connectors thats what i read so far as the swap i bought mine already done lol

You really should have found a fox for your donor car because the 94 trans uses a different bell housing and input shaft so the shifter will be in the wrong place.

are you positive? can i use a fox bell housing and bolt it up to the 94 trans? how would i solve this problem or make it work?
