Default Shift kit Question

Anyone that has owned does own or knows anyone that has a transgo shift kit, or any kind of shift kit for that matter, did it come with a tail shaft governor? It gives you full manual control through gears. And yes I know this is also posted in the general tech forum.

P.S.
ohsoquik02, if you read this don't think that I don't beleive you on what you said, it's just that I'm not sure that if you meant you sent it with the shift kit when you sent it to me or it actually came with the shift kit when you ordered it from Transgo. I'm tryin to figure some stuff out.

Default RE: Shift kit Question

it was an extra package with the transgo shift kit. its a pistion and valve kit that was in the box. i just took the governor off the tranny with the piston/valve in it. that way it was easier for you to install and less hassle to take it apart. it doesnt give you manual control. it allows for the higher shifts. use it honestly, if you want the most out of the kit
