Default Clicking noise

There is a clicking noise near the left rear part of my engine. It has gotten louder over the past couple of months. Also my car idles a lot rougher and it doesn't run right at low rpms and it sounds like it is cutting out in third gear at 2 rpms. Any ideas?

could be a loose spark plug or a spark plug wire arcing/grounding out
