adder i just wanted to say i love your advice! it always makes me laugh

And i totally agree with him, go get yourself a 255 pump!!!!!!!! and you should probably invest in some kind of wideband to make sure your not running lean

Another thought, are you running premium fuel? cause you should be

yes I have a station locally that has 93 octane. That is all I run in the car. I ordered the pump so hopefully we will be in business here soon.

do you have a window switch hooked up? that would also be a good idea, that way you can engage the nitrous, but it will only start up at i believe 3000 rpm or higher (cant remember) and will cut off at another rpm

what are your plug's gapped at?

.30-.35 is good for nitrous.

set your timing at 10* base and go let it rip again, bet it will work out alot better.

i run around 12-13* on 100shot, but ive had my car on the dyno and my car loves the timing.

plug's might be to hot and causing detonation, so you might wanna buy a colder plug.

im running the 255 high pressure welbro pump, 1 step colder plug's, gapped to .35, 100shot gets 10-13* timing depending, 150shot gets 8-10*, run highest octane possible, and your good to go.

dont spray under 2500-3000rpm

try all this out, and im sure you will be fine.

I have gt40 heads, what is one step colder than the autolite 764?

I do believe I will heed adders advice on this one and not spray it until it is tuned. I dont want to **** stuff up.

haha, go to auto zone and find out!

btw, my car is not tuned at all....... spray the hell out of it with no issues.

You wanna get it on the dyno to see what it's doing, watch A/F, and such.

your car most likely has to much timing, and not enough fuel is getting in there for the added power.

fix those and you should be fine.

You need to get a fuel pump, that is part of the problem. You have the FP jacked up, which I am not sure is the best idea with the Zex system, as that will automatically increase your FP when the juice comes on.

However what is happening is that your probably maxed out the fuel pump.

Juice tips:
1)Never engage under 3k rpms
2)Use a colder plug 1 to 2 steps depending on level of Nitrous (75 I would go with 1 step)
3)Get a 190 or 255 fuel pump, they are very cheap from Summit. And the installation is not too difficult with some help.
4) Once you have the fuel pump I would consider backing down the FP to 40 and try again. The Zex system will pull more fuel pressure based on the Nitrous use level. That is how that system works. You should focus first on getting that car to run real good naturally. I would think 50FP is too much for natural. Most guys run 38-40.
