Which Clutch?
Hi, I own a red 1985 mustang GT, 5 spd, with t-tops and 3.73 gears. Heres my question... The rear main seal is cooked, and soaked the clutch with oil so i am replacing all of the following: rear main seal, clutch, pressure plate, and through out bearing.... and i can't decide on which clutch kit to go with. I was leaning toward the King cobra from ford racing, only because i know that it is a safe bet but i was wondering what preferences other people have.
I use it as a daily driver, but need a strong clutch because i take it to the drag strip often, 2-3 times a week. I call it my driving project because i, just like most of you out there, do modifications as the money is there. I am not concerend with extra pedal effort for daily driving if it is a strong grabing clutch.
thank you all for your help,
Dan

I would say either the FRPP Heavy Duty Clutch kit or the FRPP King Cobra kit, both will provide plenty of clamping power. I would get the flywheel resurfaced or replaced if i were you also. Personally i like the King Cobra Kit, supposably less pedal effort.
