buying heads and cams
I have bought a BBK ssi manifold, with 24 lb injectors and a 75mm throttle body im going to be getting heads and cam. I was looking at getting AFR heads ive settled on two, one is 165cc with 60cc and the other is 185cc with 60 cc. Which will be better? And what is the best cam i should get ? This is my everyday car

return the SSI manifold... its a proven POS
and you need to decide what results you want from the car before you buy anything else
Since you have a vert, I feel that you should try to be a bit reasonable with your build, and go 165cc

Your manifold while not the most popular will work fine(as long as it's not the box version). I'd go with the 165's on your car being as it's a daily driver and even with the smaller valves (1.90/1.60) will outflow many heads with larger Valves. As far as Cam choice goes because it is your everyday driver I'd be a little conservative and go with someithing like Comp Cams XE266HR. It will take advantage of your heads flow and allow you to run stock gearing, stock converter (if its automatic) and still give you a noticable idle. I wouldnt waste my money on pedastal rockers. I'd get the 3/8 studded versions and a good set of roller rockers (buy American here). You will have a stout daily driver.

Pedastal heads use a bolt through design that bolts into the head. Rocker selection is very limited as well as adjustment. Stud style rocker selection is tremendous, the studded design is much stronger and exacting adjustment is very easy. The cost is within pennies of each other. Studded is far and away the better design
