Default Spring Spacers...

Alright, got a little tire rubbing issue in the rear. Ive got the Mickey Thompson ET Radials, and they rub a little bit on my fender lip. Was wondering if i could get spacers to put under my springs in the back, and would it be ok for occassional drag racing, but mostly street driving??

What springs do you have, what wheel are they on, and what size MT are you running? (no adder I'm not trying to repeat what you said)
Have you thought about just rolling the lip if you havn't done it yet??

Alright, the springs in the back are stock 5.0, and the tire size...i think... 275/50/r15, I used to run 17 in. cobra rims and had very little issues. But the rims I have now are the Jegs version of the pro stars. The spacers Iam speaking off are the ones that fit under the springs, not the ones you put in between the coils...dont really trust them. Dunno whatcha guys think? Oh and as for rolling the lip on the fender, just painted the car about 6 months ago, just scared of F'n my paint up.

I used aluminum spacers purchased off ebay. They go between the top of the spring and the frame. I have a ton of stereo equipment going in the rear of the car and didn't want it sagging. Plus when I'm at the track and have the speaker box out it will sit up higher than normal and give me clearance for the slicks. Here's a pic so you can see what they look like installed.

If you take your time rolling the lip you won't mess up the paint, unless it was a crap job. Stock tire size is not 275/50/15. Height, yea its close. How are your spring isolators working out for ya? They might need to be replaced to give a little extra left. What are the specs of the wheels? That could be your problem right there, hense why adder said you might have the wrong wheels (backspacing and offset).
