Default 73mm or 76mm maf??

I was looking at the maf meters from C&L and they have a 73 & 76mm. Will the 76 make much more of a difference than the 73? currently I have a flowmasters, jba shorties, bbk cai, and pulleys. How much differance will there be? stock 19# injectors. Thanks guys

Remember one thing. The air intake system is only as good as it's smallest opening (same is true with exhaust, BTW.) If you're running anything smaller than a 73 mm throttle body, then the 76 mm MAF is just overkill....

Guys run 10's all day long on 73 mm MAF's and 70 mm TB's....

Might be true, you might get 2-3 extra HP on a heavily modified motor. But impact on any kind of normal engine setup will be quite minimal, if any.

From C & L site:

Dyno testing by us, our distributors and the major magazines have shown that by replacing the stock unit with one of our 73mm units, you can expect 8 more rear wheel horsepower and as much as 11 additional rear wheel horsepower when installing our 76mm unit.

Key word here is "as much as"....
