ok i got a mac h pipe that says it fits a 79-93 mustang lx 5.0... mine being an 87... problem is.. my friend and i dont think it would fit my car... can sum1 tell me if im gonna need new pipes... b/c the whole h pipe doesnt seem long enough to take up the bottom of the car.. altho i am changing the mufflers.. but besides that.. do i need new pipes.. can sum1 please help me!!

are you sure you dint get an H-pipe for long tube headers. does it look like the first pic or the 2nd pic.

bottom line is you picked up an h-pipe for longtube headers when you should of got an h pipe for shorie style headers.

well im gettin long tube headers anyways.. so i guess it works out.... arent long tube headers better anyways??? tell me the difference between the headers and the h pipe

long tube headers are for high rpm and high hp cars but most people get them for sound and you did get a h pipe for long tube headers

well i was planning on getting some ceramic long tubes, what kind of hp are we talking about for the best results of them? Or is it good for all rpm ranges?
